Now it may come as quite the surprise to you but some people erroneously believe that hansaloe is merely a combination of our last names (Hanson and Buffaloe). In fact, the hansaloe was a majestic creature which thrived during the Cenozoic era in what would eventually become North America. Sadly fossil records have never revealed a full specimen but scientists have managed to construct a profile, seen at left.
As one can readily determine from the profile the hansaloe is the ancestor of several modern mammals including the okapi, ibex, and the modern day bison. The hansaloe subsisted primarily on foraging for its diet, preferring cheese, crackers, and cured meats for most of its meals. Its tendency to overindulge in fermented beverages made it susceptible to predators but its size deterred all but the most determined of foes. As for temperament the hansaloe is estimated to have been meticulously concerned with design and the orderliness of its surroundings.
